I used to work in public relations before I realized working with kids is way more fun than working with adults! Now, I spend my days teaching third grade students and my evenings pursuing my writing career.

My Story
Mom to a spirited eight-year-old girl and a fluffy six-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, I have a bachelor's degree in mass communication and a master's degree in education, but my true specialty is balancing a busy classroom by day with big storytelling dreams by night.
When I'm not teaching or writing, I can usually be found skiing, golfing, hiking, reading, traveling, riding my Peloton (team Emma Lovewell!) and adventuring with my husband and daughter in our camper van (also known as the Silver Dragon).
